As suggested during the last MUREL meetings there will be produced a publication in 2009/10 with the title:

Musikologische Feldforschung zwischen Materialität und Virtualität / Musicological FieldResearch between Materiality and Virtuality

The topics of the articles until now are:

- Zwischen Vitrine und Virtualität - Musikinstrumente in der Museums-Restaurierung

- Steampunk – das virtuelle Revival einer Retro-Dystopie und ihre sonische Gestalt (German and English)

- Ndingidi - a Distant FieldResearch Project on a Tube Fiddle in Uganda

- EthnoMusicScape - a Case of Applied Ethnomusicology

- The Rebana Landun - A Rare Musical Instrument in Sri Lanka and its Transfer to a Virtual Environment

- Cyber-Gamelan: Virtual Gamelan Experiences

Everyone of the members, who would like to add a topic or who could contribute an article is invited to participate.

The deadline is the 1st of March 2010. Please send your article with an abstract to this email-account: musicresearchelearning@googlemail.com
